Resellers & OTAs

Working with Resellers: Various Approaches

TicketingHub supports a wide range of methods for working with resellers. These range from local hotels using a login, to Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), resellers operating on commission or through a unique link, and sites such as Groupon and Living Social. We also offer API connectivity and currently integrate with platforms such as Viator, Get Your Guide and Airbnb. For any OTA we are not directly connected to, you can connect through a channel manager. To connect TicketingHub to Viator, see How to connect TicketingHub to Viator.

Establishing API Connectivity: Step-by-step Guide

To connect with a reseller via API, you will need to:

  1. Add rates for the reseller.
  2. Create a reseller account and link the rate to this account.
  3. Establish a unique channel for the reseller.
  4. Arrange pre-printed vouchers for hotels and representatives.

Implementing Online Vouchers: Tips for Groupon and Others

For online voucher resellers such as Groupon, Living Social, Travel Zoo and others, the setup process involves distinct steps.

Using Free Sale - Voucher Scan

When using the Free Sale - Voucher Scan approach, you will need to set a rate for the reseller—that is, the amount you will receive from them for each ticket. In the final step, you will need to upload the voucher codes they provide in advance.

Note: Voucher codes are single-use codes that are removed from public circulation once redeemed. These differ from coupon codes, which you generate for your own promotions and advertising. Coupon codes can be used multiple times and are distinct from voucher codes.
