How to create coupon codes
In this section, we will show you how to use coupons.
Coupon types
TicketingHub offers two distinct coupon types:
- Multi-use coupons that can be redeemed repeatedly, ideal for social media and marketing campaigns
- Single-use codes limited to one redemption, commonly used in email marketing initiatives
Steps to create a coupon
- Log in to your TicketingHub account
- Go to Discounts → Coupons
- Click “New Coupon”
- Create a code name (e.g. Apple)
- Set the limit (number of users allowed)
- “Starts and ends on” defines when the code becomes active and inactive
- “Valid From and Expires” specifies the booking date range for discount eligibility
- Choose your discount type — a percentage discount, a fixed-amount discount or a custom amount
Important note
Coupon codes are generated by you for your own promotions and advertising. They are multi-use codes and differ from voucher codes. Voucher codes are single-use and usually relate to resellers.
Using coupon codes
Coupon codes enable effective promotional campaigns across multiple channels. By creating unique codes for different platforms — Facebook, Twitter, flyers, posters, billboards or blogs — you can track real-time sales performance and identify which marketing channels drive the most conversions. This data-driven approach helps optimise your advertising investment.
