How to Create Bundles Using Ticket Variations
Would you like to offer your customers something extra? Bundling tickets is the way to go! With TicketingHub, you can combine multiple experiences into one simple purchase, making it easier for your customers to say “yes” to more fun.
Whether you are packaging city tours, adventure activities or museum passes, this guide will walk you through creating ticket bundles that maximise value and boost your sales. Let’s get started!
Steps to Create a Bundle Using Ticket Variations
1. Navigate to Your Product
- Go to the TicketingHub Dashboard
- Click on Products
- Select the Product where you want to create the bundle
2. Create a New Ticket Category
- Under Ticket Categories, click New Category
- Enter a name for the bundle
- Optional:
- Choose from your existing Tags to easily organise similar bundles across different products
- Fill out the Description to inform customers what is included in the bundle. This will be visible on the booking widget
3. Set the Duration
- Click on Advanced Settings
- Select either hours or minutes
- Enter the total duration of the bundle
- Click Create Ticket Category to save your settings
4. Set the Base Price
- Click the yellow pencil icon of a specific Tier you want to adjust
- Adjust the Price and Limit as needed
- Click Save Pricing
- After making adjustments, click Close Window to finalise your bundle
5. Duplicate an Existing Bundle (Optional)
Building a set of similar bundles? Set one up the way you want it, then duplicate it instead of starting from scratch:
- Next to the ticket category you want to copy, click the three dots and choose Duplicate
- Enter a name for the new bundle, and adjust the description, tags or duration if needed
- Click Duplicate Ticket Category
The new bundle keeps the description, tags, duration and booking questions of the one you copied, and appears in your ticket categories straight away.
Its pricing is copied in the background, because a bundle can carry many thousands of prices. A progress bar shows how far along the copy is, and you can leave the page while it runs. All pricing for your current and upcoming seasons is carried over; pricing from seasons that have already ended is not.
6. Adjust Seasonal Pricing (Optional)
If you offer different pricing for different seasons, follow these steps:
- Click on the blue icon of the specific Tier you want to adjust
- Select the Season you want to modify
- Adjust the price for a specific date or time by clicking on the yellow pencil icon
- Click Close Window to finalise your changes
