Why Isn't My Availability Showing? A Checklist

Work through this checklist in order when a date or timeslot is missing.

Availability Checklist

  1. Check the sidebar Availability calendar. Open Availability, choose the correct date, and make sure the relevant product is included in the filters. This calendar shows the availability currently in effect.
  2. Check the product’s schedule. Open the product and go to Availability. This page is where you manage its Seasons and Exceptions; it is different from the sidebar Availability calendar.
  3. Confirm the season covers the date. Check its Starts On date, optional end date, weekdays, times, and capacities. A date outside that range or a weekday without a timeslot will not be available.
  4. Look for an exception on the date. Exceptions always take priority over seasons. A blank exception closes that date, while an exception with different times replaces the normal schedule for that date.
  5. Check overlapping seasons. If two regular seasons cover the same date, the season with the latest Starts On date wins. Review that winning season’s times and capacities.
  6. Check the product timezone. Dates, start times, and cutoffs use the product’s timezone. Confirm it under Product → Settings, especially if the event is in a different timezone from your office.
  7. Check product-wide cutoffs. Under Product → Settings → Ticket Availability Cutoff, review Cut off time when no bookings and Cut off time after the first booking. A timeslot inside the applicable cutoff will no longer be bookable.
  8. Check the ticket’s availability. Under Product → Tickets, edit each ticket and review its Advanced Settings. A ticket-level Notice can stop that ticket type before the product-wide cutoff, so a timeslot may have no tickets left to sell.
  9. Check capacity and assets. Confirm the timeslot has capacity. If you use assets, make sure the product has a suitable asset and that it is not unavailable or already allocated.
  10. Check the current Checkout Widget. Go to Widgets → Widgets → Settings. The current widget has separate Products and Extras fields; confirm the product is selected in Products, then publish any changes. Legacy Widget only: Open Define Products, Extras … and confirm the product is selected there.

After making a change, return to the sidebar Availability calendar first, then check the customer booking widget.
