How to Set Up TicketingHub Account in Under 5 Minutes

This guide gives you the shortest route through the main account settings. It is a quick-start checklist, not a guaranteed five-minute setup: the time you need depends on your products, pricing, availability, payment provider, and website.

1. Create a Product

  1. Select New → New Product.
  2. Enter the product name, currency, time zone, country, category, and other required details.
  3. Select Create Product.

See How to Create a New Product for every field and the option to clone an existing product.

2. Add Tickets

  1. Go to Products → [Your Product] → Tickets.
  2. Select New Ticket.
  3. Enter the ticket name, price, group size, purchase limits, and any restrictions.
  4. Save the ticket.

Create each ticket type you sell, such as Adult, Child, or Family. See How to Create Tickets for more options.

3. Add Availability and Capacity

  1. Go to Products → [Your Product] → Availability.
  2. Select New Season.
  3. Set the season name, start date, and optional end date.
  4. Add the days, start times, and capacity for that season.
  5. Save the season and review the schedule.

See How to Create Availability Using Seasons for a detailed walkthrough.

4. Review Prices

The standard price is set on each ticket. To charge different prices by season or day:

  1. Go to Products → [Your Product] → Tickets.
  2. Select Seasonal Pricing.
  3. Choose the ticket and season.
  4. Edit the prices and close the window when finished.

See How to Set Up and Update Ticket Prices.

5. Check Product Settings and Emails

  • Go to Products → [Your Product] → Settings to review voucher validity, booking cutoffs, tax, booking limits, and ticket settings.
  • Go to Products → [Your Product] → Emails to review the confirmation, reminder, cancellation, and feedback emails available for that product.
  • Go to Settings → General to check your business and contact details.

For a full explanation of product options, see TicketingHub Product Settings. To let customers manage eligible bookings themselves, see How to Enable and Set Up the Magic Link Feature.

6. Connect a Payment Provider

If you created your account yourself, contact us to get it approved, so you can take payments and contact customers.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Payment Providers.
  2. Connect the provider you want to use.
  3. Follow the provider’s sign-in and verification steps.
  4. If you have more than one provider, confirm which one should be used by default.

Complete a test booking before sharing your widget with customers.

7. Create and Install a Checkout Widget

  1. Go to Widgets → Widgets and create or open the Checkout Widget for your website.
  2. Open Settings. For an existing widget, the full path is Widgets → Widgets → Settings.
  3. Under Products, select the products you want to sell.
  4. Under Extras, select any optional extras you want to offer.
  5. Review the remaining settings and publish your changes.
  6. Open Installation Instructions.
  7. Choose an embedded or pop-up installation and copy the instructions for your website.

For help choosing the right widget, see Old Widget vs New Checkout Widget.

Optional: Clone a Product

To reuse an existing setup, select New → New Product → Clone Product. Choose the source product, enter the new product details, and select Clone Product. Review the cloned tickets, availability, prices, and emails. Then add the cloned product to the relevant Checkout Widget and publish the widget changes.

Before You Start Taking Bookings

  • Preview the widget on desktop and mobile.
  • Make a test booking and payment.
  • Check the confirmation email and ticket.
  • Confirm the booking appears under Bookings and on the product manifest.
  • Refund or cancel the test booking if required.
