How to Verify Your OTA Integration with TicketingHub (Viator, GetYourGuide & Airbnb)

To confirm your OTA connection is functioning properly, conduct a test booking on the OTA platform and verify that a pending booking appears in TicketingHub’s Orders dashboard with the reseller name assigned.

Why Verify Your OTA Connection?

After setting up your OTA integration in TicketingHub, running a quick verification test ensures bookings flow correctly before going live. This verification process applies to all major OTA integrations, including Viator, GetYourGuide, and Airbnb Experiences.

Step 1: Make a Test Booking on Your OTA

Navigate to your product listing on the OTA and proceed through the booking flow by:

  1. Selecting a date
  2. Selecting a time
  3. Selecting the number of participants
  4. Continuing until you reach the data capture step

Important: You need only reach the data capture stage where passenger information is requested. There’s no need to complete payment or confirm the booking.

Step 2: Find the Pending Booking in TicketingHub

  1. Log into your TicketingHub account
  2. Click Orders in the navigation menu
  3. Uncheck the Confirmed filter and select Pending instead
  4. Your test booking will appear at the top of the list

Step 3: Confirm the OTA Is Connected

Verify that your pending booking displays:

  • The correct date, time, and party size from your test
  • The reseller name assigned to the booking (such as Viator, GetYourGuide, or Airbnb)

When the reseller name appears on the pending booking, your OTA integration is active and working.

Troubleshooting: No Pending Booking Appearing?

If no pending booking appears after a few minutes:

  • Ensure you reached the data capture step during testing
  • Verify the OTA channel is enabled in your TicketingHub channel settings
  • Allow 2–3 minutes for sync delays
  • Contact TicketingHub support if the booking still doesn’t appear

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my Viator integration is working?

Complete a test booking on your Viator product page through the data capture step. In TicketingHub Orders, filter by Pending status. If a pending booking appears with Viator listed as the reseller, your integration functions correctly.

Why is my OTA booking not showing in TicketingHub?

Common causes include not reaching the data capture step, the OTA channel being disabled in your settings, or sync delays. Wait 2–3 minutes and check again. If the booking still doesn’t appear, contact TicketingHub support.

Do I need to complete the booking to test the OTA connection?

No. Proceeding only to the data capture step is sufficient for testing. Payment entry and booking confirmation are unnecessary.

What does a pending booking mean in TicketingHub?

A pending booking represents an in-progress reservation that has started but remains unconfirmed. Test bookings appear as pending and can be safely deleted after verification.

Which OTAs can I test this way?

This verification method works for all OTA integrations TicketingHub supports, including Viator, GetYourGuide, and Airbnb Experiences.

Where do I find the Pending filter in TicketingHub Orders?

Access Orders in your TicketingHub dashboard. Uncheck Confirmed and select Pending to view in-progress bookings.
