Product Timezones

Each product has its own timezone. TicketingHub uses it for the product’s event dates and times, booking cutoffs, manifests, and reminder emails.

Choose the Timezone

  1. Open the product and go to Settings.
  2. Find Timezone in the product details.
  3. Choose the timezone where the tour, activity, or event takes place.
  4. Save the product.

Use the event’s local timezone rather than your office timezone or the timezone where most customers live. This keeps scheduled times correct when daylight saving time changes.

Why Is the Timezone Locked?

The product timezone locks as soon as the product has any booking. This includes bookings that are now expired or cancelled.

Locking the setting protects the dates and times already stored against that product. If the timezone is locked and incorrect, contact TicketingHub support before changing availability or accepting more bookings.

Before You Start Selling

Check the timezone before publishing the product, then confirm a future event in the sidebar Availability calendar and in the customer booking widget. Also review ticket cut-off times because those are calculated in the product timezone.

If a date or time is missing, work through the availability checklist.
