How to Connect a Payment Gateway in TicketingHub

TicketingHub connects to your payment provider so that customers can pay during checkout. Payments and payouts are handled through your own provider account.

Open Payment Providers

  1. Open your TicketingHub dashboard.
  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar, then Integrations.
  3. Open Payment Providers.

Connect Stripe or PayPal

  1. Find Stripe or PayPal and select Activate.
  2. Sign in to the provider account that should receive your payments.
  3. Review and approve the connection on the provider’s website.
  4. Return to Payment Providers and check that the provider is active.

Your provider may ask you to verify your business or bank account before all payment and payout features are available.

Connect Another Gateway Through Spreedly

Spreedly allows TicketingHub to connect with many other payment gateways.

  1. Check whether your gateway appears in Spreedly’s supported gateway list.
  2. Ask TicketingHub support for the connection requirements for that gateway.
  3. Go to Settings → Integrations → Payment Providers.
  4. Find Spreedly, select Activate, and follow the provider-specific instructions supplied to you.

Do not paste an entire command from developer documentation or use Spreedly account credentials found in a generic example. The required details depend on your payment provider and must come from the account you control.

How to Test Your Payment Gateway

After connecting the provider:

  1. Make a low-value test booking through your widget.
  2. Complete payment using the newly connected provider.
  3. Check that the order is paid in TicketingHub.
  4. Confirm that the transaction appears in your payment provider’s dashboard.
  5. If appropriate, refund the test order and verify the refund in both places.

Sandbox availability depends on the gateway and the type of connection. Confirm the testing options with your payment provider or TicketingHub support before using a sandbox account.
