Steps to Connect to OTAs Like Get Your Guide via API

1. Map Your Tiers (Ticket Types)

To ensure your tickets display correctly on Get Your Guide (GYG), you’ll need to map your ticket tiers (such as Adult, Child, etc.) in TicketingHub.

Go to your Dashboard, then select your Product.

On the Tickets tab, find the ticket tier you want to edit.

Click the three dots beside it, then click Edit.

Navigate to the Advanced section.

Scroll to Custom OTA Mapping.

Select the matching Ticket Type (e.g., Adult, Child, etc.).

Click Update Ticket to save your changes.

2. Create a Reseller Profile for Get Your Guide

Next, add Get Your Guide as a reseller in your TicketingHub account. This allows TicketingHub to recognize and track bookings from GYG.

From the Dashboard, go to Resellers.

Click Create New Reseller.

Fill in the required fields:

Name: Get Your Guide

Payment Model: Wholesale

Email: (Add your GYG contact email)

Password: (Optional)

Currency: Select $, £, or another as needed

Online Travel Agent (OTA): Select Get Your Guide

Click Create Reseller to save.

3. Locate Your Product ID

Your Product ID links your tour on TicketingHub to its listing on GYG.

Open the Product you want to connect in your Dashboard.

Look at the URL in your browser—it should look like this:

https://dashboard.ticketinghub.com/supplier/products/XXXXXXXX/inventory

Copy the string of letters and numbers between /products/ and /inventory — that’s your Product ID.

Paste this into your GYG account when setting up the integration.

The highlighted portion is your Product ID.

Mission API: Accomplished

And just like that, you're connected! With your tiers mapped, reseller set up, and Product ID plugged in, you’re good to go. Bookings will start syncing, your calendar stays updated, and manual work? Consider it canceled. Need help? Don’t be shy—give us a shout and we’re just a message away!
