How to Add a Booking After It Happened
Updated: Apr. 27, 2025
So, you forgot to log a booking? Hey, it happens to the best of us. Whether a guest showed up unannounced or a sale was made offline and never made it into the system—don’t sweat it. You’re not stuck with an inaccurate report.
This quick guide will walk you through how to add a past booking in TicketingHub. It's made for tour operators, activity organizers, reservation managers—or anyone who just realized, “Oops, that one didn’t get entered.”
This comes in especially handy when:
A guest booked in person, but it wasn’t recorded
A teammate handled a manual booking
You’re tidying up reports or fixing data gaps
A booking simply slipped through the cracks
Let’s get that booking back where it belongs—with you in control.
Log in to the TicketingHub dashboard.
Click the +Add button and select Order to start a new manual booking.

On the Bookings section, click Add Order.
Choose the product or tour the booking is for.
If there’s a discount or special rate, select it under Booking Options.
Enter the number of guests and their ticket types.
Under the Check Availability section, you won’t be able to choose a past date by default.
To work around this, click on Custom Tour.
You can now manually set a past date and time.
Go to the Payments section and click Add Payment.
Select from the dropdown how the payment was made (card, cash, gift card, etc.).
Follow the prompt to log the payment correctly.
Read our guide on Different Payment Types to know more.
Once all the details are in place, click Confirm Order in the top-right corner.
The booking will now be saved and reflected in your reports.
And just like that—you’ve added a booking after it happened. No awkward spreadsheets, no lost data, and definitely no stress. This little workaround is a lifesaver for when things fall through the cracks (because, let’s face it, they do).
Next time it happens, you’ll know exactly what to do. Here’s to clean reports and no booking left behind.
