How to Activate the Smartwaiver Integration

Chasing waivers? No thanks. Smartwaiver automates the process—customers sign online before arrival, saving you time and hassle. This guide walks you through activating the integration, embedding it in emails, and making check-ins seamless. Let’s get this done in a few clicks!
Go to Settings in your dashboard.
Navigate to the Integrations tab.
Find the Smartwaiver logo and click the Activate button.
Enter your API Key.
Not sure where to find it? Follow this guide: How do I find my API Key?
Enter your Webhook Private Key.
Need help with webhooks? Check out this Webhooks guide.
Click Save Configuration.
Once you’ve activated the integration, you’re ready to set it up in your booking confirmation emails.
To ensure customers complete their waiver before arrival, embed the Smartwaiver link in your confirmation emails:
Go to Products.
Navigate to Emails.
Go to Ticket Booking Confirmation Email.
Click View > then Edit.
Personalize your waiver request message.
Here are some example messages to use:
“We can’t wait to see you! Before your booking, please take a moment to sign this waiver: …”
“To ensure a smooth check-in, please complete this waiver before your booking date: …”
“Important: Your waiver must be signed before your booking. Complete it here: …”
“One quick step before your booking—please sign your waiver here: …”
“Let’s get the paperwork out of the way! Sign your waiver before your booking: …”
Click Save Changes.
That’s it! Your Smartwaiver integration is now fully set up, making the experience smoother for both you and your customers.
